How long does a rubber (EPDM) flat roof last?
A properly-fitted EPDM roof typically lasts 25–50 years. It's a single sheet with no seams to fail, which is why we recommend it for most garages and extensions.
Should I repair or replace my flat roof?
If a felt roof is bubbling, pooling or leaking in more than one place, replacement with EPDM or GRP is almost always better value than repeat patching. One honest look and we'll tell you which.
Can you insulate a flat roof?
Yes — while the covering is replaced we can add rigid insulation to modern standards, which makes a real difference to the room below.
